Most Apple users have very high expectations from the company whenever a new device is launched. This is especially relevant in the high technology world of today where the aim is a PC in your palm which is easy to use whenever and wherever you need it. The recently launched iPad has many additional features that can classify it a definite upgrade of the iPhone, however some key characteristics of the iPad made me wonder if it is really worth it. Are they really worth it?
There are a lot of variables to consider and I will not be going out of my way to spend $499 on something that I don’t really need. Yes, the iPad is very cool and the technology is sweet but personally, I just don’t have that kind of money to toss around. The multi-touch interface is pretty awesome. It has Wi-Fi and optional 3G connectivity so you can surf the internet and get email from pretty much anywhere. Plus, with 10 hours of battery life this thing is a great companion for travel as well. Of course, access to the Apple store is included. Here you will find a myriad of accessories along with upwards of 140,000 applications for purchase and download. Also, don’t forget iWork, iTunes, Pages, and Numbers culminating an entire office into a small, flat device that can go and operate anywhere.

Apple is known for bringing out products that are not only path breaking, but have an enigma of their own. They create a niche market for themselves and they have a niche line of followers who always stick to Apple products.
